Sifu Alix Lavaud is a Master of Modern Arnis, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and Small Circle Jujitsu.

Sifu Lavaud came to New York City from Haiti in 1968. After encountering violence on the streets of New York, he started studying Tang Soo Do and Shotokan Karate before joining the military where he served as a medic, eventually moving to Boston, MA.

In Boston Sifu Lavaud began training in Turning Style Wing Chun under Grandmaster Henry Mui and Small Circle Jujitsu from Wally Jay. When Sifu Lavaud moved to the North Shore of Massachusetts, he met Professor Remy Presas where he earned a 4th degree black belt in Modern Arnis.

Today Sifu Lavaud teaches group classes and private lessons in martial arts in Danvers, Massachusetts.
